I bought one of the Harbor Freight lifts several years ago and am very happy with it. I am satisfied with the overall quality. I replaced the vise type chock with a roll-on type which makes it easier when loading a bike without assistance. One word of advice......the darn thing is very heavy so bring a truck capable of carrying a heavy load when you pick up.

thanks for the info -sounds like the way to go.- it would be the ultimate in irony - i want one so i don't have to lay on the floor or some other awkward position to save my back and hurt my back loading the damn thing in my truck . i'll bring help

Staying at the Campground where the rally is held is much better than staying offsite. Maybe there is a way to rent a camping trailer through the campground.
